3. Follow other Reputable Rescues & Sanctuaries

Follow other rescues and sanctuaries and assist them in any way possible such as sharing and posting about their mission. This helps them to spotlight their mission and message and further spread awareness and educate others. We can all do a small part to change things for wild horses when enough people know about the issues and more get involved in the fight for their right and freedom.

4. Volunteer at a local Rescue or Organization

Offer your talents to a wild horse organization and work remotely to help in any way you can. At Skydog, we have some incredible people behind the scenes sending ‘Thank You’s, welcoming patrons, taking photographs of our wild horses to share with the world, and donating items to our auctions to raise funds.

There are so many different ways you can get involved and help the cause.

5. Contact your State Representatives

Remind them how important the wild horses are to the Americans, and ask them to co-sponsor the SAFFE Act, which would help stop the transport of wild horses across borders to Mexico and Canada to be slaughtered.

TAKE ACTION FOR MUSTANGS AND BURROS

Visitors have the chance to Sponsor a Skydog or Donate to Skydog Sanctuary with both options going straight to the wild mustangs and burros in need. If one were to Sponsor a Skydog, they ensure that that horse or burro they’re sponsoring is taken care of by their funds, as well as receive time to visit and video updates. If you donate, we ensure that the funds go to horses and donkeys rescued from abuse, neglect, and awful situations.

With your help, we can continue our mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and reunite as many mustangs as possible!
